Features:
- It is used with 3MTM Qualitative Fit Test Apparatus Kits FT-10 Sweet and FT-30 Bitter to conduct qualitative fit tests.
- Test kits and accessories designed to help your organisation meet AS/NZS 1715:2009 which is mandatory fit testing of respirators for compliance.
- You can use them to check the seal between the face and the respirator on any particulate or gas/vapour respirator with a particulate pre-filter.
- 3M™ offers two Qualitative Fit Test Apparatus Kits FT-10 (Sweet) and FT-30 (Bitter).
- FT-10 uses a test solution of sodium saccharin that produces a sweet-tasting aerosol.
- FT-30 uses a test solution of denatonium benzoate to produce a very bitter taste.
- The choice between the bitter and sweet test kit is a personal one. Saccharin is not detectable by all people, and as a result, the bitter test must be used.
- A replacement part for 3M™ Qualitative Fit Test Apparatus Kits FT-10 Sweet and FT-30 Bitter.

Our “Train the Tester” Course is designed for companies who wish to conduct Face Fit Testing on their own employees. As a result, this can be a very effective way to ensure you have someone available within your organisation who is capable of conducting face fit tests, and who has the knowledge and skills to do so.
Fit2fit approves this training course as accredited and it meets its requirements. Please look us up on the fit2fit register of approved training courses.
The course duration is one day.
Furthermore, you can also purchase a Face Fit Testing kit through our online shop, you will need a kit for the training and ongoing testing of your staff accordingly.
Overall, courses will run based on a minimum of four delegates.
