We have over 50 years combined experience with the NHS. One of our founding Directors has served nearly 30 years within the NHS. We mention this because supporting the NHS is very important to us: it's personal!

Roll back to 2020 and face fitting was all about COVID. The situation today has evolved significantly. When writing this, we face COVID, flu, RSV, whooping cough, MPOX and measles.

Depending on your location and infection rates at certain times of the year, it can be difficult to scale your response to meet demands.

Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust

We conducted face fit train the tester for their staff over a three-year period. Following a consultation, we felt that this was the best and most cost effective solution for this trust. This met their internal demands, took into account staff turnover and the need to be reactive at when demand peaked.



Clinic 51 GP

They were starting their new venture and required a full suite of policies and procedures, along with fire risk assessments to satisfy CQC requirements. We have helped GP surgeries with special measures, following CQC inspections. Our highly experienced health and safety team are on hand to support you to provide advice and act as your competent person.

We work with the NHS with everything ranging from GP surgeries to large NHS trusts. Our staff have over 50 years combined experience working in NHS trusts and the NHS is very close to our hearts.

We work with several hospital and ambulance trusts supporting them with face fitting and face fit train the tester services.

We tailor all solutions to each trust very differently. For example one trust will need us to provide face fitters to conduct all fitting, whilst another trust will need face fit train the tester and a third may need a combined approach. Case Study

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust

We supported them though the worst of the early stages of COVID in 2020 and continue to support them now. We trained staff on face fitting and assisted them in establishing a lasting management system. We achieved this by placing a member of our staff within the trust as a bank worker to help set up that management system.



We identified a need for our face fitters to be trained by a competent agency to ensure the ongoing safety of our staff while operating in COVID positive environments.

Safer developed a bespoke package for us. This process has worked extremely well as our candidates were not only trained but received the support to be able to conduct their first face fits on their own with confidence.

Case Study

South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) highlighted the potential need for further FIT test trained staff in January 2020, due to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. While exploring the market of accredited Fit2Fit trainers, Safer UK stood out from the rest.



We have thousands of frontline staff to manage. We invited Safer UK into the Trust and have since successfully placed 193 staff and volunteers through the training, all of whom where fully engaged in the excellent level of teaching provided.
