Simple Safety Charity Golf Day

On Monday the 12^th October the Safer team had the pleasure of competing in the Simple Safety Charity Golf Day which was held at Sweetwoods Park Golf Club in Kent. The annual event supports the Children’s Respite Trust which is a charity very close to our hearts.

With a grand total of £10,280 raised, the day was a great success. A personal favourite moment of ours was the ‘beat the pro’ competition which had an interesting twist. As you’ll see in the video below, this was not an ordinary challenge. With the pro on one leg, on a stepladder, hitting his driver off a raised stick tee, it was certainly a challenge to even hit the ball let alone the green! With a few trial shots by each member of our team, our director Karen stepped up and perfected her shot first time!

To top of a brilliant day, our son Ally won a 4 ball at the Forest of Arden through a prize draw and we can’t wait to play. We wanted to say a huge thank you to Simple Safety Advice, the Sweetwoods golf team and everyone who participated. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event which is due to take place on the 1^st June 2021.
