Safer and Dentists

In May when the Government announced that Dental Surgeries could reopen in line with Government guidelines for emergency dental work, Safer began to receive a staggering number of requests for Qualitative Face fit Training and Face Fit Testing.

Throughout these past few months, we have been conducting training and testing 7 days a week to ensure we can help to facilitate the safety of the dentists going back to work. With the inevitable increase in demand for all PPE equipment, Safer became inundated with enquires for Face Fit Testing Kits, disposable and reusable half masks. Along with the majority of other companies, we have had ongoing stock supply issues. To ensure we were as impartial as possible, we have been working in a chronological method. As of a couple of weeks ago, we have since received multiple mask deliveries to ensure we now have happy, and most importantly, safe customers.

In line with the Government guidelines, we have had to make significant changes in how we conduct our Face Fit Training and Face Fit Testing courses on site at our premises. Due to having clients based locally, to nationwide, we have had to limit the number of delegates on each of our courses to comply with social distancing guidelines.

As you may know, there have been many fake and non-compliant masks which have been imported and sold throughout the UK. We found that this began at a similar time in which the dental surgeries were desperate for equipment, therefore this effected their industry in particular. Alongside the general training and testing of the dental staff members, we have provided ongoing support to ensure they understand how to recognise fake and non-compliant masks.
