Could you save a life if you were the only one around?
Wednesday the 16th October was World Restart-a-Heart Day – an occasion during which organisations across the globe work to highlight the importance of heart health, as well as promote understanding of CPR procedures and usage of defibrillator equipment to empower the public in the event of an emergency.
At Safer, we believe it is important to not only work to keep our clients safe but also to use our skills to promote safety within our communities, so on that day we worked free of charge at our own golf club, using our training capabilities and deep understanding of Health and Safety to run 30 min sessions on CPR, the on-site defibrillator and general safe practice rules for all.
We were delighted that throughout the day each session was filled with the maximum number of participants we could manage, proving how important this information is to people. Each one of the individuals in attendance is now certified and can act accordingly in a life-saving situation. Please consider how you could incorporate this vital training in your workplace.
We couldn’t be more proud to know that we are making our fellow members, their friends and families Safer.
Thank you to The Royal Eastbourne Golf Club for having us and to our many participants for their enthusiasm.
If you would like to talk to us about training with regards to health and safety within your workplace or community then get in touch. From One Day First Aid Courses to Fire Marshall Training we can help.
In the meantime, please look out for other safety initiatives and talk to us about how you can incorporate them into your safety strategies. Let’s make your equipment, teams and workplaces Safer.
